3 Tips to Looking Gorgeous in Any Dress Regardless of Body Size and Body Type
Have you ever seen a stunningly beautiful dress that your eyes popped from their sockets, and your mouth flew wide open with awe? Have you ever seen such a dress, whether on a mannequin or a person, in photos or right before your eyes, that you went right ahead to put it on the list of things you must have?
Here is why
Here is the thing about beautiful dresses/ clothes. It is the body/ platform on which you see them first.
-
- How well the clothes/ dress fits the wearer?
- How well the dress/ garment fits the mannequin?
Necessary Adjustments
Did you know that you can rock any dress/ garment, own it, and make it look (on you) as great as it did on the platform/ body on which you saw it?
Your Secret to go
The Secret is not to necessarily lose or gain weight every time you have a new dress or are eyeing a new dress/ clothes.
The Secret is to adjust the dress so that it fits you like a glove; not too tight and not too loose.
Allow me to illustrate:
If you saw my first post this month *I refuse to be intimated by mannequins* then you already know that my dilemma with clothes – readymade clothes at that – didn’t start yesterday. You, also, know that I came up with clothing solutions so that I dress as gorgeously as I desire.
What to do
These are the things I consider when buying any clothes.
- Is it the fabric/ material I want?
- Is it the colour that I want?
So:
I am size ‘a’— ‘a’ being just a random number 🙂 – do not go looking for what size ‘a’ is. Hahaa ?.
*Height is ‘b’ Inches
*Bust is ‘c’ Inches
*Waist is ‘d ‘ Inches
*Tummy is ‘e’ Inches
*Hips =’f’ Inches
*Thighs = ‘g’ Inches – etc.
NOW…
And these (adjustments) goes for all other ready-made clothes/ dresses that wow me, but which have a fault or two that I can fix.
I hope you take home a tip or two and be on your way to making all garments fit your style.
